Partnerships in focus

Partnerships

This is a week when we’re reminded of how we work in partnership with whole range of different organisations…

On Thursday 6 September, CRASH, the building industry charity, held its Annual Patrons Meeting. CRASH’s contribution to Kairos over the past 14 years is well documented. Well done, CRASH, on an outstanding APM held on the 19th floor of the UBM building on Black Friars Bridge Road – panorama at its best!

Yesterday, on Tuesday 11 September, the Big Lottery local representative (Southwark), Alicia Joy Pierre, visited us at Nunhead to review our Recovery Hub under the stewardship of the Lottery-funded complex-needs support worker, Matt Dear. It was satisfying to be able to show her a programme in full swing.

Looking forward: in two days’ time, on Friday 14 September, some 40 golfers will be teeing off in the Dulwich Circle of the Catenians‘ fifth fundraising day for Kairos, at the East Course at Sundridge Park.

And finally… on Sunday 16 September, for the ninth year, the now-annual pilgrimage to Lourdes with the Oblates from the Anglo-Irish province – 35 willing helpers will set out from St Pancras station.
