Kairos has a new move-on flat – at the Oval. It’s home to three Kairos residents who are heading towards independent living, through different forms of training. They’ve all relocated from regular move-on houses in South London and, although support workers visit regularly, it’s support with a light-touch. “Three’s a good number and the flat is very manageable. We’re all very happy here,” says Danny. “It’s a great location for tubes and buses. And it’s close to the river – we can walk into the West End. Sometimes I go running as far south as head office in Streatham.” And, of course, when the weather improves, the cricket is next door.
